This morning I was singing crazy versions of the Mount Wannahockaloogie chant music from Finding Nemo. (Sharkbait Woo-Haa-Haa!)
Wesley says to me: Your singing voice is better.
Me: My singing voice is better, huh?
Wesley: Yeah.
Me: Better than what?
Wesley: Jayne’s.
Below are two of the most beloved cartoon superheroes in The Cryer household. Robin and Starfire, from the Teen Titans. They were the inspiration for this year’s Halloween costumes.

Ripley here. I know, I’ve been as absent as my Mom has when it comes to posting on this blog. What can I say, I’m a born follower.
But really, when you see photos like this, can you blame me?
Dad purchased this costume for me years ago. Thankfully, I never had to wear it. It even made it into the Goodwill pile… I was home free! Except then the boy decided he wanted to be Robin for Halloween, and the costume was exhumed.

Mom actually thought she might be able to repurpose the costume for the boy… but turns out only the cape would work. Regardless, once the package was opened, I was doomed. She got all giddy as she dressed me in this get up, made the boy pose with me… oh the dogmanity.

Sheesh.
Last weekend we went with some friends to a local pumpkin farm and corn maze. We did slides, corn maze, tractor ride, cotton maze, playground, hay tower and pumpkin picking. Needless to say, the kids had a blast.

(Notice who is running the show in the photo above.)

This weekend we hung out near the Natchez Trace. And that huge bridge. It is so awesome, as are these pictures!
